New Bedford – Lucy M. (Fumo) Genereux, 57, of New Bedford passed away January 25, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Ms. Genereux was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Antonio C. and Hilda (Medeiros) Fumo, and resided in New Bedford most of her life. She loved animals, enjoyed decorating, 70’s music, and volunteering at the Salvation Army.
Survivors include her sons: Randy J. Genereux, Jr. and Matthew D. Genereux, both of New Bedford; 4 sisters: Dolores Dias, Sylvina Desilvera, Dorothy Fumo and Rosa Hautman; 4 brothers: John, David, George and Alfred Fumo; and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation 12:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home, 8 Franklin Street, New Bedford.
