New Bedford – Linwood C. Brown, Jr., 54, passed away at home January 6, 2018 following a brief period of declining health.
Mr. Brown was born in New Bedford, son of the late Linwood C., Sr. and Rose M. (Prevost) Brown, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of his life. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family and friends so much, enjoyed fishing, rollerblading, his motorcycle and his husky, Natasha.
Survivors include his sisters: Kathy Young of Warren, MA and Cindy Young of Acushnet; a brother: Bruce Young of Florida; an aunt: Jeanne Souza of New Bedford; an uncle: Eric Brown of Acushnet; 21 nieces & nephews; and many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Saturday, January 13, 2018, 2:00-4:30 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service at 4:30 P.M.
Burial will be private.
