Barbara J. (White) Parker, 72, of Fall River, formerly of Westport, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Carlton E. Parker.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late John A. White, Jr. and the late Irene (Ferreira) White. Prior to retirement, she was the owner/operator of Barbara's Hair Fashion in Fall River and she also enjoyed working at Eagle Restaurant and Applebee's. She was a member of the Pink Sisters of the South Coast, where she created special bonds and friendships. Mrs. Parker loved vacationing with her husband and friends in Aruba and she also enjoyed camping, cooking and the beach. She loved her dog Caralinda. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends is what she treasured most.
Survivors include 2 sons: Gary W. Parker and his partner Carlos Alvira of FL and Scott C. Parker and his wife Dana of East Greenwich, RI; a daughter: Carlene P. Rondeau and her husband Michael of Fall River; 5 grandchildren: Ian, Parker, Sophia, Jude and Peighton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Debra Sicard.
A private service by the Rev. Dr. Clinton E. Parker will be held and live-streamed via Facebook on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
Prior to the service, a memorial tribute video will also be live-streamed at 12:45 P.M..
