Stephen R Thompson, 67, of Westport, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at St Luke's Hospital with his family by his side. He was a husband of Debra (Widden) Brown.
Mr. Thompson was born in Midland, MI, son of late Richard P. and Mary Lou (Lillibridge) Thompson and resided in Westport for the past 18 years. Stephen was well respected and travelled the world in his career as Director of Quality Assurance for Harbor Seafood, NY. He was a member of NIF, National Fisheries Institute, and sat on the Board of Directors. Stephen's favorite things were his boat, his golden retrievers Webster & Lily, spending time with his grandchildren and watching the Patriots and NASCAR.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: Christopher E. Brown and his wife Julianna of Dartmouth; his daughter Heather E McCarthy of Westport; 2 brothers: Parker Thompson of Worcester and Patrick Thompson of Boston; a sister Margaret Benedict of CT; 4 grandchildren: Samantha, Taylor, Jacob and Nathan; along with 2 nephews.
