We were so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was a genuine, warm-hearted man whose smile was infectuous. We will miss him dearly, as a most wonderful person & as our roofmate. I was one of the doctors taking care of your father. In the short time I got to know him I felt he was a strong and wonderful man. He faced his illness and his life and death in a way that was a lesson for all of us.
You were a great support for him and it was obvious he loved you all. When you were not there I sometimes would speak to him about his family he was all-ways glad and his love for all of you was obvious .
I just wanted to say how sorry that he passed but glad he was at peace with himself and his family.
