CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

My heartfelt condolences to all of Deb's family and friends. This is very sad. I saw Deb at our annual Meade family gatherings and, no matter what, she was always smiling! May she rest in peace with Josh, Frankie & Pearl, and Lisa. Sincerely, Diane Diane Waterhouse Barbarisi

Debora- You were our FIRST born niece and WHAT A BLESSING you were. You taught us all how to be strong when life is not so kind and to ALWAYS be there for our loved ones; no matter what! We'll miss your beautiful smile and your kind ways, but you are now at peace, with no more more pain or suffering, which itself is a blessing beyond our pain over your loss. God Bless You! All of our love, forever, Auntie Rosalie and Uncle Francis

My Beloved Deb, As one of your biggest fans EVER and, as my amazing luck would have it, the 4th oldest of all of us Meade first cousins, I got to GROW UP with you- our ALWAYS eldest and #1 cousin/grandchild, out of so, so many. Oh, our young lives so frequently spent together with our vast extended relatives and most beloved Grandparents, near age aunts and uncles, cousins; with your family's home directly between ours and them, the memories from near birth until now flood me with gratitude, joy, and a hint of the deep sorrow at the cause for you and your family's sudden move away from Agawam, as a child. Still, life went on and your beauty and grace just grew and grew and grew. You were SUCH a beautiful woman; inside and out. At times, I was stopped in my tracks by your beauty and grace. Always kind; always caring; always, and sometimes surprisingly, aware of and concerned with the details of my life that showed you to be the ball of love, strength and the true hero that you WERE! When I met Joe, you were the FIRST person/relative I wanted him to know- Yes, Deb, YOU were that important and amazing to me, and, I know, to so, so many of us. I also know that I have worried about and thought of you each and every day of my life for decades; never wanting to hear the news I knew I was about to hear not two weeks ago via a sudden telephone call, but there it was- so shocking and so unreal. I don't know about anyone else, but the THREE kind of miracles that occurred in your last day will always bring me the comfort I need to know that YOU KNEW and were fine and ready to be with your son, whom you missed SO MUCH, and with your once in a lifetime Mom (a Meade matriarch, no matter her name, who kept the family traditions we enjoyed as children going on until she, too, left us, and who was SUCH a great aunt to me from birth, through all of the events of my life.) Your loss creates a hole in my heart and it will hurt to not see you at all of the places I did over a lifetime, but your spirit and our connection is etched into my heart and being, so I KNOW we are and always will be together, as we have been from our earliest years. All of my love and deepest blessings, forever, my dearest #1 cousin Deb, Cousin Francis (#4)

Dear Deb, I met and got to know you through my partner, Francis (your cousin), over the last 16 years. You will always have a special place in my heart. Over that time, I met your Mom, with whom I felt a special connection, and learned a lot about your family heritage through my conversations with her. I am sorry I never met your son, whom I know meant as much to you as a child can. When we asked you, not a few weeks ago, what kept you going through the difficulties of your life, without a pause, you answered, "gratitude". That will always stay with me as a word to live by. I hope you are in a better place. Love, Joe
