CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Bernie was one of the most quiet, easy-going people I knew. I met him playing racquetball in Framingham for twenty years. He was a pleasure to be around, enjoyed a good laugh, a good beer, a good time, and a good game, and a good friend who was always willing to help someone out. I will miss him dearly and think of him often. He was taken from us too soon.

BERNIE WAS A DEAR FRIEND AND ROOM MATE FOR A TIME IN FRAMINGHAM MASS, HE WAS A JOY TO BE WITH AND A FUN GUY. HE TAUGHT ME A LOT ABOUT RACQUET BALL AND REALLY ENJOYED IT. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY.

To the Bonin Family, Please know that you and yours are in my prayer in a special way as you mourn Bernie's loss. Bernie, as you know, was my student at Precious Blood. He was a super student, every teacher's gift! I will try to go to the remembrance for him. May each of you feel the peace that can and will be given to you at this time. I tuck deep feelings of condolence into this message. Sr. Yvette Bellerose, SSA

I send my deepest sympathies to all in the Bonin family. In my brief encounters with Bernie, I found him to be such a personable, pleasant young man. He was certainly too young to have left your family. Know that, while I pray for Bernie, I pray as well for all those whom he loved. Connie

I am so saddened to hear about Bernie’s passing. My memories of Bernie are filled with love. As a freshman at Precious Blood, I was extremely shy. Bernie was the first one to talk with me and offer to do “clean up duty” in the school yard with me. He and his mom hosted many get togethers. I remember him as kind and inclusive. He paved the way to my opening up from my shyness and gave me the ability to enjoy 4 great high school years. I always looked forward to seeing him at our reunions and catching up. He is missed and I will always remember Bernie fondly. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Although I am unable to attend his services, I will be there in spirit sending loving memories and prayers. Diane Valcourt

Dear Janine, Cozette, Denise, and Richard, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as we extend our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your brother-our cousin, Bernie. We share in what we know is a deep sense of loss upon the death of a brother. We have fond memories of all the times we would be in Chicopee at Don’s house and Bernie would pull up in his truck and come into the kitchen and chat for a bit. Always enjoyed those visits. May this unexpected loss help to strengthen the family bond you all share and help us all to gain a greater appreciation for the time we have together. Gerry & Peggy St. Amand
