Joe and I had been good friends since I was 14 and he was 15. We met on a lake in upstate NY while we were both on vacation. I was fishing and hooked into a huge turtle. Joe and brother Jim heard my distress and came to the rescue from the other side of beautiful Paradox Lake. That was the start of our friendship that has lasted over 50 years. We shared many of life’s ups and downs as close confidants. Though many miles separated us at times, we always remained close friends. I will always remember his sense of humor, laugh and kind heart. You will always be with me Joey. Rest In Peace.....
