I met ed a few years ago when he started shootings skeet at Norwottuck club. I had many conversations with ed and always enjoyed his company . I didn't meet any of his family but he would tell me about his daughter that moved to Kentucky. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace

Eddie Silva and I became good friends when I spent summers at my aunt's house. My aunt lived next door to the Silva's We used to play together when were young kids and as we grew to adulthood. When I would visit my Aunt, Eddie and I would make a point of getting together. He lived in Ludlow then with his wife at the time. My first ride on a Harley was when Eddie took me for a ride. I consider him a lifelong friend. When he heard I was moving to Hawaii in1967, he drove down to my home in Hanover, Mass. We had a great time reminiscing, went out to lunch and sadly said .our farewells. Eddie still has the smile he always had and I think of him often R.I.P.,my friend. You will always be a part of my life.
