To everyone, my heart grieves alongside you all. I pray God, who I know had a place in Heaven all ready for my Godmother, my Auntie Babe,will grant you strength to get through the pain of this loss and freedom from all anxiety. I will see you all at the services next week, just know my thoughts are with you. Sad to say with phone books and landlines being a thing of the past I don't have a phone or email for anyone but Tim. Please believe if I had that information I would have called and I would have dialed the phone for my own mother to call you. I love you guys so very dearly. So many good memories from Wait Street. Your Mom was a Heffernan most of her life but like my mom she was a 'Battles Girl through and through. Beautiful, kind, gentle, and a strength of character that belied her placid face. Like Nana Battles, tough as nails. She took all that life threw at her. Oh what I would give to be sitting at her kitchen table right now having a cup of tea. I will end this saying how fortunate I was to have my Auntie Babe in my life. Until I see her again in Heaven above she lives on in my heart and I will keep her very much alive in memory. Larry Jr.

Tamie..My Sparkling Friend..You are in my thoughts as you find your way through this. I'm praying for your healing, with the passage of time. I know you will miss her; I'm sending my understanding consolation and my most sincere condolences to you and your family. Know that the strain and the pain, will eventually ease. Sue and all of the Heffernan family. I have many memories from visiting with your mom on Wait Street and other outings with whole family. Your mom was always sweet and caring. I have lived away from Springfield for a long time and I often think of her and will miss her.

To our Gram~Thank you for all of the years of your unconditional love. You were there for every wedding, every birth, every baptism, and by our side in the hospital any time one of us was sick. I hope we honored you enough in return by supporting you in the end of life the way you always supported us. You taught us how to live our life with integrity and how to say our first prayers, many of yours which are still protecting us. You taught us how to express love, kindness and generosity of spirit, and to always help others. Although we were never rich in material things, you showed us how to be rich in character. Thank you for all the special memories of our sleepovers, allowing Robbin and me to decorate your Christmas tree every year with our traditional Lidos dinner afterwards, and so many other times shared. I never thought that as you were there to watch me take my first breaths, I would be there with you as you took your last. As you wrote to us in all of our birthday cards, "Always remember us loving you"...Tam loves Gram

Hi Family, Your Mom "Babe" will be greatly missed. I have very fond memories of us ( Danny & I ) visiting our FAVORITE Cousins (She & your Dad Jim ) What fun !! We actually got them on a Cruise Ship in Florida. I have to believe she and Danny are having a great time together at last. With much love ... Brenda
