I knew Gina from Holyoke Catholic High. I remember her fondly as an always friendly and smiling face in homeroom. My sympathy to her family.

I never knew Gina, but after reading about her and seeing her picture I can understand how the world falls silent as she leaves the stage, so young, so gifted and so generous. Thanks for your great contribution, thanks for being that person that others rushed to each day and thanks for sharing your character with those who are beginning to understand what strong and expressive people can achieve. For such a brief visit you have left us with so much. Rest In Peace , Gina.
