I had the honor of being Joe and Ruth's next door neighbor for the past 10.5 years. I will miss not seeing him puttering around in his garage fixing things or even working on his car. I will miss not hearing more stories of his life that he shared with me. He always told me if I needed help to just give him a holler. I would always let him know when I was going to be gone as I knew he would worry why he had not seen me or if he did not recognize vehicles in my drive way. I grew to love this man as a dear neighbor and friend and he will be missed greatly. So my dear friend just sleep for a little while and I will see you again in the promised resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:12, 13). Our loving, heavenly Father, Jehovah God promises in Acts 24:15 there is going to be a resurrection and in John 5:28, 29 of us having a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones.
