CONDOLENCES (GuestBook) |
I am so sorry to read of Cormac's passing. I was hired by the Prosser School District in August 2010 and worked in the District office for 10 years, before retiring in October 2020. I live in Yakima and knew virtually no one in Prosser when I was hired. Cormac was a tremendous help to me as I learned to navigate the customs and processes of the community and the District. I worked with him very closely during those early years in preparing and distributing press releases as well as other communications from the District to the public. I found Cormac to be unfailingly helpful and kind. I enjoyed chatting with him and knew he had lived an interesting and fulfilling life, by the stories he told. I was reminded of some of those stories when I read about his life in the newspaper earlier today. Even after Cormac "retired" from working officially with the school district, I would often see him around Prosser, driving that distinctive and shiny clean VW Bug! What an accomplished and successful man he was! I know all who loved Cormac are grieving now, as he was delightful as well as knowledgeable about so many things. I remember many conversations around some of those topics. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you who loved Cormac. May he rest in peace.

I was so sorry to read about Cormac’s passing. I remember him as a voice in the radio as well as a neighbor and my friends’ dad when I was a kid. As a teenager I even got to go for a flight with him for a friend’s birthday. Great memories! My heart goes out to all of you.
