CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Dearest Susan and family, Ken & I are so saddened by your & our loss. Jim was a very very special person and will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. Peace for Ken & I was found knowing Jim is with our LORD and well - with no pain or suffering. PTL. Ken & I won't attend Jim's services - due to Covid. How can you go to a funeral of someone so dear and not just hug everyone!?! WE are keeping all in prayer and send our love and hope someday soon we can get together. Love, God's Blessings and Couz hugs, Ken & Cindy

Mark and I are so sad to hear of Jim’s passing. As my daughters 5th grade teacher it was such a pleasure to know him and to listen to all of his amazing knowledge on history. He was a great neighbor, friend and father. He will truly be missed by everyone. We are so sorry for your loss.

Deepest condolences to the family of Jim. We were honored to have known him since kids through school and church. He was genuinely a kind, caring, soft spoken guy & a great mentor throughout his life. We and the Sunnyside Class of 1970 will miss his presence, but know he is at peace, rejoicing eternal life. With much respect, RIP Jim.

Jim was a student of mine. I would like to think I implanted a love of history in him. I am probably kidding myself. I think he was born that way. While I was the public address voice for the Sunnyside Grizzlies, Jim was the scorekeeper for Prosser basketball. We shared many travel adventures across the scorer's table. I will miss him. I knew Jim from Young Adults class at Grace Brethren Church. I only knew him for a couple of years before life took us different directions. He was a great mentor with a healing spirit. I am sorry for your loss!

I’m a member of Jim’s 1970 class in Sunnyside. Jim was such an integral part of our class—we all remember him whistling “Sweet Georgia Brown” for the basketball team! At our reunions Jim appointed himself the keeper of obituaries, making sure any classmates who passed were honored and remembered. We knew his mind was like a computer and we were all so proud of him when he went on the Millionaire show! He was sweet, soft-spoken, kind, and brilliant. I only hope as a class that we can honor and remember him the way he did others. Our 50th reunion was to be this past September, but of course it was postponed until next year. I’m so sorry that we couldn’t have all seen Jim one more time.

RIP Mr. White one of the kindest teachers I've ever had, thanks for teaching me about Abe Lincoln.
