CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Our condolences to Dorothy's family. The Oldfield family

Posted: 10/31/2020 by Janet Church of Sierra Vista, AZ, United States

Our deepest sympathies to you on the passing of the much loved Dorothy. Dorothy and our mother, Flora Scott Chezum, were lifelong friends. The last time we took our mom to see her they sat together and talked and reminisced and held hands. Dorothy said to my Mom, “I can’t hear very well, can you repeat that?” Flora looked at her and said, I can’t remember what I said!” They looked at each other and laughed and hugged. Friends forever. I picture them now with family and friends in heaven, hearing and remembering and still holding hands. Terry Scott Klukas and Alan Scott

Howard & I send our thoughts and prayers to family of Dorothy Hall Johnson. She has come to our home for family celebrations with Aunt Flora. We were always celebrating a special event going on with my parents, Bill & Shirley McConnell. I'll always remember Dorothy with her beautiful smile and such a fun personality. We always loved having her to celebrate with us. May she rest in peace.

To the family, I send my sincere condolences. I have not seen Mrs. Hall (that's how I knew her back then) for many years, but when her name has come to my consciousness, it has always been with loving thoughts. May she rest in peace.
