CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Corky and family, My deepest condolences to you all for the loss of George. For the years we worked together at Benton County, he was an amazing leader/mentor/individual for whom I had utmost respect. As a young woman who lost my father too early and having never having a maternal grandfather, George offered professional support and personal wisdom on a daily basis. He was humble, gentle, and wise. We would often walk around the Prosser area during our lunch breaks. Always at George's brisk pace and me struggling to match his stride. He would zig zag back and forth, always needing to be on the outside to shield me from traffic. The thought of these walks and talks still makes me smile. To this day, he remains in the top 5 for influential male figures in my life. I feel extremely grateful and blessed to have had George in my life for those 8 years. To say I was fond of him would be an understatement. What an amazing man. You and your family are in my heart and mind. Terrie Weber

Corky, just got your loving note. Yes, we are dealing with similar trials. I am so sorry for your loss of George. I remember him grinning in pleasure/glee when you stopped by my house in the mid 90s to surprise me. I looked up from working in the yard, and there you were! We hadn't seen each other in years. From Brownies to now...you have always been in my heart and mind. Yes, I'll take care of me, and you take care of you. With each other in mind, Cath
