John Colter was a great friend and a great support to me and my wife Debbi at Prosser Church of the Nazarene. We spent many times together reading scripture and talking baseball. I will miss John's quick wit and dry sense of humor. His love for Jesus gives us the hope that we will one day be reunited with John in the presence of Jesus.

John... You were a true best friend when I was away from my family, and I can't thank you enough for all you did for me... So graciously accepting, and with such an exceptionally caring ear... yet so modestly tossing in your own take on things. You added so much more then you might have known. You were a model of a man I sincerely hope to emulate... I loved you man and will miss all you brought. A whiskey toast (I'll drink yours:) ) and my heartfelt cheers to you my dear friend.
