Laurie was always there for the disadvantaged. In the early 80's,she volunteered on Room 5 Boston City Hospital where the homeless were brought. In the 90's I was privileged to work with Laurie as she helped keep Framingham shelters open. To be with Laurie as she buried her son Chris. As she was there as we buried our daughter Colleen. We will meet again.
