Dear Anna Laura and family, The shared photo of Carl makes me remember his beautiful smile, easy laugh and sparkle in his beautiful eyes. I also vividly remember adoringly hanging on Carl when I was probably 6-7 yrs old and Carl was visiting us in our Detroit home. I recall a handsome young college age man with a full beard who I thought was pretty adorable. Lois may have been visiting, along with Aunt Emma and Uncle Bill. I will always smile thinking of Carl and our family riding in the glitzy limousine to celebrate Emma's 100th birthday. Sending love and hugs to you all. We will miss Carl. Karen and family.
