I knew Darrell for over 30 years. I too was in the marketing field and I represented one of his companies for many years. We were very very close and we each confided with one another on many occasions. Darrell was a true true friend and we never got off the phone without telling each other how we felt. If I ever needed a "pick me up" I would call him for a great story. He was never short on these. I too am a Labrador lover and I came to Boston one time to see Rufus. What a great dog. Time took its toll on Darrell and he did the best he could to hold off this day. I think he did great. I will miss you my good friend. RIP. I Love You

I knew Darrell thru Voice of the Faithful. He was a faithful, hard working advocate for survivors of child sexual abuse and advocated for change in the church.

Where is the condolence that I sent? It was visible for a few days and now is gone??

I had the pleasure of meeting Darrell when I worked for the local cable company and we brought the local access to the homes of Wayland and Weston. Darrell and I had such a good time coming up with original programming to show on the cable access channels. He was truly an original and the person who would gladly give you the shirt off his back and then change your tire on the side of the road in the middle of a snowstorm. They don't make 'em like Darrell Simpson any more. I'm so glad I got to know him. Side note - I have a lab named Rufus. Love ya Darrell!!!!
