I worked with Craig when he worked for the Division of Family and Children in Vincennes,IN. He was a great coworker. He was fun to be around, highly intelligent, and a master story teller. And loved animals. I am so sorry to hear of his passing.

I was so sorry to hear of Craig's passing and offer my love and sympathy to Paula, to his beloved children, David and Sarah, and to all his family and friends. I worked with Craig at the Department of Family and Children in Vincennes in the 1980's. Craig was hilarious, intelligent, handsome, and kind. He truly cared about his clients, and his friends and family. Craig and I lived in different towns and different states for many years, but he called me a time or two a year and stayed in touch. Craig was well-read and well-versed in classical music. We shared that love He simply adored the dogs for whom he cared. I remember him building and elaborate dog house for one dog in the '80's and arranging to safely install a space heater so it wouldn't get too cold. I also remember him describing lying on the floor with one of his last dogs to comfort it as it was dying. Craig never forgot the friends with whom he worked at the Department of Family and Children and inquired about them each and every time we talked. Craig's love of the outdoors and of fly fishing was also endearing. I remember him describing fishing trips to, I think Montana, with his good friend, the late Dr. Snider, of Vincennes. Gosh, Craig was so ALIVE while he was here. It's hard to imagine him NOT being here! I am so grateful to have known him and grateful for his friendship. The world is a diminished place without Craig in it. Rest well, Craig, my dear friend.
