Always in our hearts, a Marine through and through, Greg exemplified the "ability to endure more than most" and "the determination that did not relent in the face of hardship and difficulty." Despite a challenging illness, as Linda says, Greg never complained and showed that dedication and perseverance were rewarded by the joys of time with family and his granddaughters, and always catching the biggest fish in the pond! Stories and memories of his lifetime of service and kindness will be long shared. We wish you all peace as you remember your happiest days together and celebrate his unique life.

Linda, Please accept my condolences on the loss of your husband. I just recently came across this notice after investigating some of my dad’s Canton cohorts. I remember your family well! Please feel free to contact me someday, as we’re building up our art collection and would love to add some Onishis! Glenn McElwain Cabot VT
