I love you Papa. You were the best grandfather anyone could of ever asked for. It was awesome being able to spend a day with you so recently. I will cherish that day we spent together for the rest of my life. Till we meet again! PS - Thanks for helping me troubleshoot that pesky outlet in my bedroom, its been working flawlessly now.

How can you possibly feel the loss of a person who you never actually met? And yet, I do: I feel an emptiness, a void in the world, with the death of “Papa”. I knew of him through his daughter Linda and her family and their stories allowed me the privilege of experiencing what an amazing, unique, principled, accomplished, and, above all, compassionately kind person Papa was. I also felt those same qualities reflected in his daughter and his grandchildren. When I think of the video of him devotedly giving his wife rides in the bike which he custom built to accommodate the limitations caused by her illness, I can’t help but tear up. The world has truly lost an endearingly special person with Papa’s death. My deepest sympathies go out to all of his family.

I am so sad to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a great friend to myself and my late husband Steve. Bob made daily visits to our bike shop( Steve’s Bike Barn) rummaging thru parts and accessories ,always looking for something new to add or change on his bike. He truly was one of the kindest men I have ever had the honor to call a friend. Please accept my sincere condolences. RIP Bob.

Rest now Bob. You're one of the finest and wisest gentlemen I've ever met. We'll miss you at lunch but we'll raise a beer to you . God bless.
