Bud was my trainer for about 2 years and we became fast friends. He was very protective and caring and gave me life advice I will never forget. I regret not being able to attend his funeral as I am in FL but wanted to send condolences to his family. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed. May he rest in everlasting peace. Rest in peace, Bud. We live only as long as human memory carries us, only as we are remembered. Bud left a deep impression on so many, he touched, helped, cheered and trained so many over the years. Never indifferent to the difficulties of others, he cared not about money but more of fulfilling his calling. He was passionate and skilled in passing the passion along. You were of rare, quickly disappearing kind of a man - rugged, strong, willed, genuine yet empathetic and always a gentleman. Old school, with values and principles that transcend physical time. It was an honor to know you, being called a true man and a friend by you. It means a lot and I will carry that memory with me for as long as I am destined to last. I wish I could shake your hand, my friend.

Norma and Debbie, Mike and I are so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. I believe you know how fond we were of him. Mike has some great memories and some great lessons not only in boxing but in life advise that Bud shared with him that will stay with him for the rest of his life. We will always remember Bud as a man that was very kind and had a right jab that could knock anyone out if it caught them square on! RIP Bud. You will be missed.

Bud was a one of a kind man who taught me not just how to be a boxer, but how to be a better and more confident person. I will always remember Bud for his quiet demeanor with a loud presence. If you knew Bud, you loved him, and I can certainly say I did. I will always miss you and I will always appreciate everything you did for me. Thank you Bud. RIP

Bud had a huge impact on my children and my family. Both of my children boxed with Bud, one of them for 10 years. Each session with Bud included so much more than boxing instruction. He was a true mentor and gentle giant of a man. I am so grateful for the time we had with him. My family’s deep condolences to Bud’s family. He is irreplaceable.

I just learned of Bud's passing a few days ago and am very disappointed not to have been able to attend his arrangements. Bud trained both of my boys. He trained my older boy to a Southern New England Golden Gloves championship in 2015. I first met him back in 2005 when I brought my older son to Box-a-Round. Bud was as fine a gentlemen as I have had the pleasure to meet and my boys benefitted tremendously from our relationship with him. I am deeply saddened by his loss. Rest in Peace, Bud.

I just found out of Buds passing. My deepest condolences to his entire family. Bud was my mentor for more than 11 years. He was a very gentle and compassionate man. Bud always cared for everyone who walked into the gym. I was honored to have such a great mentor , but also a great friend. His passion for boxing and how he respected all students showed the minute you met him. When Buds gym closed and he moved to pearl street. He would swing by my gym sometimes and instill his wisdom and knowledge. On my younger students and boxers. I wish I knew of his passing as I would have gone to his funeral. Rest in Peace my dear friend. God now has a great spirit in heaven.
