So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a nice lady. I enjoyed talking with her when we would meet at “Shaws”. She was a wonderful friend of my parents Joe & Ruthie. Our deepest sympathies to all, Andrea

We are all so very sorry for the loss of Rita (meme). She was a very wonderful and nice woman. She was my step grandma for 27 years and my mother (Deborah Klimas) mother in law for 27 years and my mom knew her for 30 years. She treated me and my family like we were part of her family and she will be very much missed and was very loved.

Dear Jay and Patricia, Your mother, the lovely Rita, was one of the legendary mothers of Roberts Road who were raising kids starting in the mid 50’s until we spread our wings and left for adventures unknown. . I also had the bonus of seeing her during lunch throughout my high school years ,as she was one of the very beloved Lunch Ladies who fed and graciously tolerated us everyday. I liked her when I was a little girl and as teenager. But my deepest feelings for Rita came as an adult when I returned home in 1999 for the passing of my father and again in 2007 when my mother passed. Both times she came to the services. It was Rita’s kind words and comforting eyes that made me feel love for her and for what she represented - a living reminder of that magic period of a time long past, when we were kids on Summer nights playing in the street until the street lights came on and in Winter, skating on Forge Pond behind your house and the world felt young and that anything was possible because we had good mothers like Rita watching over us. My heartfelt condolences to you ,Jay and Patricia and to your families ,for the passing of this wonderful woman . I’ll always be grateful for having grown up around people like your mother.

Dear Jay and Patricia, I just found out about your Mothers passing in November 2021. Rita was a wonderful, kind person. Growing up on Roberts Road and remembering of her friendship with my Mother Vivian Valley. And her always being a thoughtful neighbor. An added bonus when she was manager of cafeteria in school with her warm smile. As an adult I used to bump into her at Shaws or over in Stoughton shopping and we always had a nice chat. Please accept my heart felt condolences for your loss.
