Nora and family, Please accept my condolences, on behalf of my family Becky, Alan, Andy, and my late wife Doris) and me. You may remember that we lived across Dedham St. from you, until about 1999. Patrick was very kind to us in several ways, and I appreciated it. He loaned his Bobcat to us several times, for us to do some landscaping as well as to remove snow from our 300-foot driveway. I think he even plowed our driveway himself, once or twice. I am quite sure that he did more for us than we ever did or could do in return -- he was a good neighbor in time of need. Patrick (and the rest of you) were good neighbors, and I am sorry for your loss.

Uncle Pat was a legend. He was hilarious, kind, so generous, a loving husband to Aunty Nora, a doting father to his children and grandchildren and a spritely, happy man with a cheeky twinkle in his eye. A couple of days after Annette’s wedding, here in England, my parent’s house was filled with O’Regans and Pat needed a break from the hub-bub. I was off out and Pat decided he was coming too so he crashed my date with Andy (my boyfriend then, now husband) We all went to the cinema and had a great time! He heckled every character and whistled at the naughty bits and had every one around us in stitches of laughter. Love you Uncle Pat xxx
