I had the very distinct honor of working with Susan during her time at Microsoft. She was a brilliant network engineer and taught me a lot about networks but most of all taught me about personal interaction with teammates. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I have known Susan since 1997, and recently lunched with her and her amazing husband, Fargas when they were visiting Prosser, Wa. My love, sincere condolences and my support go out to her dear husband, children, and family. My prayers are with you all. May God bless and keep you surrounded in his love and mercy.

I remember Susan well as a journalism classmate at Western Washington University. She was smart, had a great laugh and had everyone's respect. I am saddened by her passing. If there's a heaven, Susan is already there.

Susan was a brilliant and loving human who enriched the lives of those around her. I will never forget her infectious laughter. I loved watching the relationship between her and my dear heart brother Fearghas. Her untimely death is a lesson for us all to make the most of every moment we have. All hail Susan the Traveler. What is remembered lives.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Susan and Fearghas over the last 5 or 6 years. Susan was always so happy and such a pleasure to be around. Her spirit and her laughter were truly infectious and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her and my warmest condolences to her family.

From everyone here at LINX we would like to share our sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Susan. We were saddened and shocked to hear the news last week and feel our industry has lost a real shining star. We welcomed Susan many a time to our LINX member meetings in the UK and she was always a really appreciated and well-respected presenter and personality within our community. Our thoughts are with Fearghas and her children.

What a terrible fate it is to lose a loved one ahead of time. Susan was a woman of impressive abilities but without elevating herself above others. She fought for humanity. In that fight, she has had to walk through thorns to win. She still kept her contagious laugh. Even after her death, her laughter has not faded. It will always remain alive for us. Sabine und Niels

I am saddened by the passing of my dear friend, Sue. She was the nicest, smartest, friendliest person I've ever known. My son Clay went to college with Sue and were friends throughout her life. He just spoke to Sue a couple weeks ago and they spoke for about 30 minutes to catch up. He also stayed with Sue and Fearghas in April when he was purchasing a car in their area. it's a time he will never forget. The shock we feel as most of her many friends feel, is unbelievable. I loved her whit, her infectious laugh and everything about her. She will be sorely missed. RIP, deat Sue.
