Jim was such a special person! He was one of my dad’s (Ed McCarthy) first friends at Cornerstone. Jim and my dad were great company for each other and shared many stories about their lives and families. Jim kept his driving longer than the other residents at Cornerstone and was often off on an adventure to get lottery tickets with my Dad or head over to St. John’s for mass. My dad died about 2 1/2 years ago. He was at Cornerstone for 4 years and those years were more enjoyable for him because of his buddy Jim MaGee. May Gods rest Jim’s soul. He was a great man.
