Dear Laurie and David......it was with great sadness when we heard of Bob's passing. Our families have gone back many, many, years together with laughs and lots of love. Bob was a good person, a great son, an awesome brother, and a wonderful friend to so many. He was loved and will be missed by all. May God continue to Bless You and all of your family at this time. With our love....Stephen, Alan, & Jennie Morganelli

Dear Laurie, David, Maria, Heath and Bruce, Your beloved brother, Bob has always been known to my family, myself and Nona Bugli a loving soul who always had his heart out for others. He was definitely the pillar of the family with spirit that roared and a voice that spoke from his heart. He will deeply be missed but not forgotten. He left a loving legacy of love. I hope with time you'll celebrate his stories of his passions and of smiles. May you rest in peace Bob!

Dear Laurie and David, In Junior High School Bob and I were inseparable, spending our time exploring Pleasant Street’s woods, streams, and reservoir. Bob could find all sorts of interesting things I had no clue about. He picked up a rock and explained it was asbestos and proceeded to pull it apart! He found a cave with a very narrow entrance we went into but then I got stuck trying to get out. Somehow Bob got me through – I was sure we were both goners. We caddied and played together at Ponkapoag (Who lets kids play golf?). I feel awful I didn’t call him about your mom. She would always have snacks, or a lunch, or even dinner for me, even in later years when we would get together. It was so much more fun being at your house! Although Bob and I went separate ways, we were always friends and a bad word never passed between us. His loss is really a shock. God bless him. I’m so sorry that you both have to experience this right after losing your mom. Andrew

Sorry for your losses, both Bob and his Mom. Bob was a good man. He will be dearly missed. I’ll especially miss our lunches in Chinatown with other work friends. God speed Bob.

My extreme condolences to Bob’s family. I worked with Bob at the Attleboro DTA office and actually shared rides back and forth to the job when he was living in Raynham. One of the finest and genuine individual I have ever had the pleasure to get to know. We have lost a true gentleman. RIP my friend.

Condolences to Bob's family. Though its been many years, I was very sad to hear of his passing. I knew Bob from our Star Market days in the '70s and always have fond memories of our friendship. He introduced me to golf. He was always a steady, even-keeled person. A real gentle soul. Rest in Peace My Friend

I have just learned that my long time friend, Robert Melchin has passed on to his everlasting heavenly life. I have known him as a friend, co-worker at DTA, sports fan and collector of fine pottery and sports paraphernalia. We went to Avon Pizza and First Night in Boston for many years. He was such a good guy. He will be missed.
