I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my neighbor George. Growing up in the same neighborhood George was always friendly and nice to me. Such a nice guy taken way too soon. No other words to explain. I hope his wife and family are all doing well and stay safe. Rip George, gone too soo but never forgotten.

Dear George’s widow and children, his mom and dad, siblings with spouses, family and friends: I’m saddened to hear of young George’s passing. He had a great love of family, friends and life which comes through in the obituary. He will live in your hearts and minds throughout your lifetime because the love stays and memories of the heart are forever. He now rests in the arms of Jesus. May the Good Lord give you the strength and peace to see you through. With Deepest Sympathy. Joanne Wheeler Neighbor

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with the Thomas family and all the friends and associates of George. His sudden passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of so many. Be comforted in the knowledge of all the good work he did on and off the field and the positive affect he had on so many people in such a short time.

To Marissa and George’s family we want to extend our heartfelt condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. As difficult as it may be at this time, try to concentrate your thoughts on the wonderful person George was and the great times you all shared with him. Although he was taken much too early in life he made such a positive impact on so many people and leaves a legacy few could accomplish in many more years. God bless you all.

Dear Thomas family, Please accept our deepest condolences on the sudden passing of George IV. I have many fond memories of being in Trinity Church Canton with your family, and at the Hazel Boone Dance Studio. The Philpott family understands the tragedy of a young father's death all too well and my only advice is to take all those wonderful memories you have and stick them in that hole in your heart. They will never completely fill the hole, but you can find some comfort in knowing that the memory of George lives on in the hearts of many! May you also find peace knowing that George is now in the company of angels and will always be with you in prayer. The Philpotts (Holly and Herb)

I didn't know George but know his mom from high school and 'girls night' since then that keep us linked, after all these years. We never expect to out live our children. We never expect to raise children without their dad. And we never expect to climb into an empty bed after a long day of having to carry on. But life has a way of changing things. Keep his memory alive with stories shared and a smile each time a light flickers. He will always be with you. He is just on the 'other side' where dreams are formed..
