To the Lauro family, I'm sorry for your loss. I was one of Mr. Lauro's students at Junior High South in Norwood (many years ago now!), he was always one of my favorite teachers. I didn't know of his passing until I saw this. I'm very sorry for both your losses. I can only imagine your Mom was as good a person as your Dad was. I hope they are resting in peace together.

To Helena's family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Helena during her time at Orchard Cove. As a staff member she made our workday easy and enjoyable. Everyday we were met with her beautiful smile. She was a wonderful addition to our community and she will be missed.

To Helena’s family and friends: I’m sorry to learn of Helena’s passing. She was a loving, very knowledgeable woman with whom I knew and worked with through the Community Club of Canton — Great person to know and work with—an avid reader. I will always remember the day we set out to deliver all the beautiful throws donated to the CCC by Draper Bros. It was a fun day spent with Helena. I’m so sorry for your loss. May she now Rest In Peace.

I was a neighbor of Helena & Arthur's in the mid-1990's when my husband and I moved across the street from them on Curtis Circle. We bought the house from Helena's sister and Helena & Arthur treated us like family. Our son loved to eat Helena's pizzelle cookies and she was always so sweet to make them for him. I am so very sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Helena was a special lady.
