We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was such a great lady and a good mentor to us when we were on the St. John’s school board. Annemarie, Maribeth, Martha, Katie, Meg and Patrice, My deepest sympathies to you and your families. Mary was a wonderful, close friend for more than 60 years from Lexington Street to Cornerstone. Her true friendship, deep faith, and love of family were so important to her, as was her gentle and kind way to always ask about how my children and I were doing. Mary and I worked together at Blue Hills for over 20 years not only was she an excellent teacher and coworker she had a most generous heart and a great sense of dedication to her students. To all the McCabe daughters and their families: I have such fond memories of your parents and all the McCabes filling the pew behind or in front of the Malones. I always admired her personal character. She was a model of strength and kindness. She led her Pleasant Street matriarchy with pride and devotion! My condolences to you all. Canton was gifted with impressive women in her generation, and Mary was among the best. Anne
