Dear McCabe Family: My sincere sympathies to your family. I worked with Mary for many years at Blue Hills Regional and found her to be a lovely lady. In addition to being friends with your mom I was fortunate enough to have my son attend the Blue Hills Early Ed preschool for two years, Sending love and prayers with the hope you can all find comfort in happy memories. Sincerely, Marie Russo

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was such a great lady and a good mentor to us when we were on the St. John’s school board. She and I had many meaningful conversations about nursing and healthcare. But she is happy with Our Lord now and Fred. May God bless you with HIS Comfort and Peace.

Annemarie, Maribeth, Martha, Katie, Meg and Patrice, My deepest sympathies to you and your families. Mary was a wonderful, close friend for more than 60 years from Lexington Street to Cornerstone. Her true friendship, deep faith, and love of family were so important to her, as was her gentle and kind way to always ask about how my children and I were doing. Over the last year we chatted every day about the pride and love she had of her entire family. She touched so many lives with such positive spirit and loving manner. I will miss her in so many ways. With deepest sympathy, Marie Clausen-Corcoran

To all the McCabe daughters and their families: I have such fond memories of your parents and all the McCabes filling the pew behind or in front of the Malones. I always admired her personal character. She was a model of strength and kindness. She led her Pleasant Street matriarchy with pride and devotion! My condolences to you all. Canton was gifted with impressive women in her generation, and Mary was among the best. Anne
