I met Susan a little over 2 years ago. She was strong and resilient in the face of adversity. She was able to laugh and make wry jokes about some of the challenges of later life, and she had quite a few. She was always stylish and put together and truly seemed much younger than her age. When I first met her, she joked about realizing she was the same age as Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She said,, "she's so old!" We laughed about it. She was so smart and clever with her observations. She definitely loved her family and spending time with her sisters. She talked about them with great love. I'm deeply sorry for the loss of such a great lady. She will be missed.

needham, MA,
Sue was a joy! She and "Doctor Bill" were loved by all of the Tobins from Jackson Road in Newton. Bill was my father's [Francis Tobin] first cousin. We used to go to Auburndale to visit my Uncle Joe and Aunt Anna, Dr. Bill's parents. Sue was also known to my wife Janice [Murphy] as she is also a nurse from Auburndale. Sue was a kind person who was always welcome in our home growing up. She and Dr. Bill were so kind to my Mom and Dad in their final days. I will never forget the kindness that they showed to them. Sue was a dear who will be missed by all of the Tobins.
