I met Hugh once at a golf tournament where we were a team of four. The nicest funniest and most out going person you could meet and told some great jokes

Hugh became so much more than my dental patient. We grew to become good friends, 'brothers of different mothers', who shared interest in music, good food, and general life outlook....Most sincere condolences are offered to Carol and Hugh's entire family.

Huey and Clyde became family to us around the mid 1960s, never missing a major holiday at my brother Jay's house. My first good job was at Polaroid and they helped me get it. Huey worked at Windsor St. alongside Dr. Land as an engineer and had great stories to tell about it. Huey had a unique and contagious laugh which i will never forget. My prayers are with his family and others who are struggling with this painful loss. Love, Mike Morrissey

Thinking of you Carol, Ian, Doug and the family. Our heartfelt condolences to all. He was a sweet heart of a guy and will truly be missed. Wendy, the girls and I so much enjoyed our visit last summer with the Boston Smith’s and especially our tour of the city with Hugh. Couldn’t have had a better guide! We are very thankful of that time we got to spend with him. Look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks to celebrate a special life. All the best, McKay

To Carol and all of Hugh's family & friends, please accept my sincere condolences. I worked with Hugh for just over a year and he was such a kind spirit. He was always eager to help with our giving programs and loved the idea of giving back to the local community through the WHS and also the Christmas is for Kids program. His stories of growing up in Dorchester, his smile, and awesome spirit will stay with me. I always admired when he talked about Carol, he called you "his bride" and always had a huge smile when he mentioned her. Hugh will be missed so much.

Hugh, you were a great mentor and an even greater friend. You were always the first to help someone in need, always there with a great story or joke, always there with words of wisdom and encouragement. You will always be missed my friend... My deepest condolences to all of Hugh's loved ones.
