Gus was the first person I met before entering the first grade @ the Crosby School. Also had my first beer with Gus @ the Dugout in Kenmore Square. He will be missed will be there Tuesday.

Iris - I don't know where you live so I am sending this in place of a mailed note. We were all at Brandeis together and also attended one of Bill's lectures at Needham's Senior Center. A few weeks ago I was at the Huntington theater and thought I saw you in the large crowd entering the theater. I wanted to say hello but lost sight of you. I am so sorry about Bill's passing. I met Bill when I joined the Glee Club at LLARC and he was always eager to do the extra things which would enhance the program. Most of all he was just a wonderful and joyous person. He will be sorely missed. My sympathies to all his friends and family. Mary Nowak

My condolences to the entire family. I will always remember Bill as having a great sense of humor, helpful, knowledgable, kind, loving and a great ambassador for the Boston area. I know Luanne is waiting to continue discussions on the Red Sox and Celtic music. A final toast to Bill, may he rest in peace.
