Fred was a good friend at Cathedral High. He was one of the "good guys" you'll ever meet. I met his lovely wife at a CHS function at the high school a few years ago. They both were great company and it was good to see him again. My sympathy goes out to his family at such a very sad time in their lives.

Fred was a wonderful man and a great assistant principal at the Galvin. Such a terrible tragedy but I know that he and Cathleen are safe in Heaven. My deepest condolences to their beloved family members and friends.

Remembering Fred from our days when we met at The Boston Globe and the wonderful times spent with Fred and the Krals in Wareham. Then meeting Cathleen and being invited to the pre-prom party at "The Lark". A few days later taking her classmate Helen to the Emmanuel prom along with Fred and Cathleen. Finally attending their wedding too. So many wonderful memories of the times when we were young and carefree! I was prompted to dig out my old Polaroids taken on many of those occasions and it brought me back to the early '60s again! Am deeply saddened by the tragic event in Wellfleet and feel blessed that I knew this wonderful couple so many years ago. My sincerest condolences to the Cronin and Kral families.
