She could sense your troubles and had a way to make things better, if only for those fleeting moments in her presence. Her unwavering gaze of caring and kindness brought comfort and a sense that things would be alright. She did this for each of us and we know many others. Shall we go forward in tribute to Sue striving to bring Joy and Hope. Never one to burden us with her struggles, we are assured that she found solace with her wonderful family and her God. We will miss you so, Sue! Love, Patty and Russi

My deepest and sincere condolences to the van Riel family. Sue was a women who had that special way about her. Her smile alone showed us her kindness, gentleness, and generous spirit. Our paths crossed in our Bermuda residency overlap, for only a year, but I can still hear her laugh!

I am so sadden by the passing of this incredible woman. Her smile and zest for life should be an inspiration for all of us. Sue used to work for me and she came in with a smile and laughter everyday, I miss that light she brought to the office everyday! My bands and clients would call in just to talk to Sue, they loved her accent and her loyalty to her favorite team... Go Pats!. Boy, Helen and Grace, our heartfelt condolences on your loss.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of her family. She was a lovely, strong woman. She would come in the Doctor's office with a smile always on her face, laughing and joking with me. She would always say ” here again”. I am so sorry for your loss. Very compassionate, caring talking about Boy, Helen, Grace. Thoughts and prayers are sent to all of you. I am so glad to know her even if I am the nurse she had to put up with. . Remember happy great times you had with her, that's what she would want.
