To the Maffie Family, please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your son Anthony. My daughter Abby only recently stopped by to say hello and chat with Anthony at midnight mass. On the ride home from church she mentioned how nice he is and what a lovely family you all are. My son Geoffrey is friends with Austin. I am so so sorry for this devastating loss and wanted to let you know I am thinking of you and saying prayers for you all. Words can't adequately express our feelings, but please know you are in our hearts.

My deepest sympathy to the Maffie Family in this saddest of times. I sincerely grieve with you. Throughout Anthony’s martial arts study, I witnessed him grow from a little fellow into a handsome, respectful and hardworking young man. I saw his growth more drastically than most because I did not see him daily at the dojo. However, over the years, whenever I visited and worked out at the dojo he was always there listening and learning. He will always be part of the Uechiryu Karatedo family. As someone who personally is still experiencing a grave loss, my heart aches for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Peggy Hess Jensen Beach, Florida

My deepest sympathy to the Maffie family at the tragic loss of your beautiful son. Having had the opportunity to work with Anthony at the hospital has been a joy and a gift. He is a kind, warm hearted gentleman who always had a smile on his face, and was always willing to help others; a true nurse at heart. He will be missed beyond any words one could say, and will be carried in our hearts and thoughts for a lifetime. God bless you all.

To the Maffie family Please accept my deepest sympathies to your family. I met Anthony many times and always found him to be a wonderful young man. My son Alex considered him to be one of his closest friends. He often headed out saying he was going to hang with “Maffie”. Our entire family truly feels a sadness that is difficult to explain. Please know your family is in our prayers.

Dear Lisa, Bob and Austin, my heart is broken about your sweet Anthony. I will always remember the day we all met, he walked into our back yard to play with the kids on the swing set while you carried Austin in his carseat. My kids were so excited about having new playmates, especially Alex, he was thrilled to have more little boys around, especially one close in age, and Anthony was the perfect playmate, always smiling and just so easy going and sweet. I remember his gentle manner, how much that helped when the days got busy with all of the activities I dragged them all around to sometimes! I could always count on Alex and Anthony to quietly set the best example for the younger kids! When I met him a year or so ago, I remembered that kind sweet little boy and thought how proud you must be of him, that he was still as gentle and sweet as he was as a young child. I hope that you find comfort in the memories that so many are sharing about him. I can't imagine how much you miss him. My whole family and my friends who knew him then are thinking about him and your family with sincere condolences and so many prayers are being said for his eternal peace. Love to you all, may Anthony rest in sweet eternal peace.

Dear Bob, Lisa & Austin, Please accept our deepest sympathy to all the Maffie Family in this saddest of times. Anthony and our son Idris were such good friends, since the day they met at Curry College they were inseparable. Anthony had the kindest heart and a smile that would light up any room he walked into. I can not believe this has happened. My heart is breaking for the loss of your beautiful son, who was loved by so many. I will never forget Anthony's smile and laughter. Maffe my heart goes out to you and your family. I can still picture Anthony and Will playing baseball and basketball together. He always had a smile on his face and always greated me as Mr Conroy. You both greated Will when he moved to Canton and made him feel apart of from the start. That speaks to Anthony’s character as he was true to his friends and family alike. God must have had a special job that only Anthony could have done. My prayers and love go out to you and your family and if you need anything we are here. All our Love, Will and Bill Conroy.

To Anthony's family, Please accept my deepest condolences for your tremendous loss. I had the honor of having Anthony in his very first clinical rotation as a student nurse. He was truly a remarkable person who embodied what it meant to be a nurse. He craved knowledge and experience in the clinical setting in order to become the best nurse that he could be. He was a great leader, friend, and colleague to his fellow classmates. He was genuine. I raved about Anthony and was so grateful to have had such a fine young man in clinical group! As you grieve his loss, please know Anthony left a large impression on many lives. He touch people by sharing his smile, wisdom, kindness and friendship. He will be missed. God Bless you All.

I love you Ant, Daddio xoxoxo
