Goodbye Grandma Jean, rest in your well deserved peace. Your life wasn't easy, but you rose above all of the hardships, disappointments, challenges, and was one hell of a gracious lady. I am so blessed to have you as part of our lives for the past 50 years. You were the grandmother to my children, a surrogate mother to me, and a wonderful mother-in-law to Tony. Our hearts are saddened. I still want to pick up the phone and call you, to tease you into laughter. To hear your words of encouragement. So glad we were able to visit with you while you were still in better spirits and able to enjoy our visit. Enjoy the place God has prepared for you among the angels, you've earned your crown!

Today ,was special day as I opened a card I received while in the hospital that Jean sent me that I've never been able to throw away, On the bottom she wrote May your recovery be speedy.
