Dear Peter, Pattie, Makela and Pete, Words can not describe how shocked and sorry I am to hear of Lorrie's passing. She was so many things to so many people. To me she was my seventh sister, my confidante and partner in crime. I thank God for all the wonderful memories I have although I would much rather have her back here with all of us. I’m in shock ! I have such happy , found memories of Lorrie . She was so kind so thoughtful. What a great sense of humor and always looked on the bright side of things. I’ll never forget her letter to Charles Laquidara WBCN On Ed’s Birthday He read the letter on the air that morning and played our new song “I love Broadway” only Lorrie could have pulled that off ! That’s who she was ! She Would do more for other people then she would for herself! My Sincere Condolences Gary Bryant

My deepest condolences and love go to Jim, Peter, Patty, family and friends of Lorrie Ferry. Lorrie was always my “groovy aunt” despite no blood relation to my mom Jeanne Hall (Gilmore). It is often said that we can choose our friends but we cannot choose our family…Well, my mother chose Lorrie to be part of our family and Lorrie was a spectacular person to be given that special opportunity. When my mother and Lorrie would get together, I would often tag along and listen to them reminisce over their life-long friendship. I have seen pictures of their adventures together on Bermuda and numerous other excursions from long before I came around. One thing is for sure, they were quite the dynamic duo of their time and they always were up with the most recent fashion trends. I know Lorrie touched so many people’s hearts and she always made you feel like you were the only one in the room when she would have a conversation with you. Lorrie was one of the first people to introduce to my love for dogs, it was always a treat when she would bring her Boxer over to play, it kept me entertained for hours and hours. Lorrie had an amazing passion for traveling, whenever she came home from a trip we would always get together and I loved hearing about her adventures. One time, when she went to China, she told me all about how silk was made for the kimonos…. My opinion of silk was forever changed after that. Lorrie was an outstanding daughter, sister and friend to everyone in her life. It is a shame to see a beautiful soul taken away too soon. Heaven gained a very special angel in the early days of 2018. Thank you for being such a special influence in so many people’s lives Lorrie and may you rest in peace.

To Lorrie’s family and friends: I am so sorry to learn of Lorrie’s passing. Read it in the Citizen this morning. She was such a nice person. I’ve known her for many years—since early Dr. Staples Days—on occasion we would do something together but not for many years. She will be missed by many. With deepest sympathy, Joanne Wheeler

My heartfelt prayers and condolences go to Jim, Peter, Patty, extended family and friends of Lorrie Ferry. Jim, I pray that you find comfort in the time, memories and affection you and Lorrie shared. Lorrie was so important to us, we loved her as family and as our friend, there for us in good times and bad. The love, care and time she gave to my father and mother in their twilight days was reflective of the beauty of her soul. I remember with a smile, even now, the Summer I had the privilege of working with her at my fathers' office. What an amazing woman. Thank you dear Lord for allowing us the opportunity to know her. God Bless Lorrie as abundantly as you blessed our lives with Lorrie! Brad, Patricia and family.

I am so saddened and stunned to learn of Lorrie's passing through the Canton Citizen and extend my sincerest sympathy to Peter, with whom I graduated high school, and his entire family. Having known Lorrie through her entire career with Dr. Staples and Dr. Zahn, she will be sorely missed and my thoughts go out to that intimate extended "family" as well. Lorrie was kind, considerate, and compassionate. I'm so sorry.

Lorrie was a junior high and high school friend of mine. Always had a crush but couldn't compete with Eddie and the Neptunes! I will always remember our class trips to the New York world's fair and to Nantucket in the eighth grade where I bought her a silly Einstein necklace which she kept for all these years and actually brought to show me at our 25th class reunion. Wow, what a shock. Enjoyed seeing her last year at the reunion and will miss seeing her at the next. I've been happily married for 45 years but I've always carried that childhood crush. May you rest in peace and I hope to see you on the other side.
