6/25/2017 Linda StierleOn
Fulton, MD,
On behalf of the Society of Air Force Nurses, please know that we are also mourning with you the death of our friend and colleague, Captain Arline Love. You are not alone in remembering a truly remarkable person who made a difference in the lives of so many as she journeyed through life. She was a past president of the Society, and a contribution in her honor will be made to the Canton Veterans Service Department as requested. Arline will be missed, and she most certainly will not be forgotten by her Air Force Nurse Family. Linda J. Stierle, Brigadier General, USAF (Retired)

Please accept my condolences on your loss. From the writeup, she sounds like a wonderful caring woman, who served her country proudly, not only within the military but for her lifetime after retirement. One day we will all get to see just how she changed the world with her heartfelt dedication to it. I'm sorry for your loss, ~ Phil Bouldry

My husband, Jim, volunteered in the Hanscom Retirees Office before his passing in 1995 and loved working with Arline. He always said she was a special gift to the area retirees and that he learned so much from her. We always enjoyed the Retirees Day at Hanscom for which Arline was instrumental. We will miss her and her dedication and caring. Fond memories of this special woman will live on. May she rest in peace.

I was sorry to hear of Arline's death. I knew Arline through the Society of Air Force Nurses (SAFN). In addition to meetings of the Northeast Region and National Conventions I was able to come down from Vermont and have lunch with her several times at Hanscom AFB. As I took on leadership roles in SAFN Arline was always there to cheer me on and offer words of wisdom. She will be missed, but know she is in God's care.

I have known Arline for many years as a member of the Air Force Retired Nurses ASSOC. We often argued over the Brigham vs MGH all in great fun. However I did not know until now we were fellow Eagles and could chatted amicably about BC. Arline was a joy to know, hard worker and never complained. I am sure I speak for fellow retiree in this area when I say she will be missed dearly.
