Brockton, Ma,
Bob was one of the most humble men I ever knew. He was never afraid to ask questions. He never made himself to seem more important than anyone else. He would laugh with you and lots of time would have you laugh with him at his own expense. I always enjoyed every moment I was with him. I loved his stories. My heart, prayers and love go out to all of you. Don and Jackie Rocci

Bob, Wow, and what a shock to hear of your death. (Actually, to hear of your transition from this earth to the rest of eternity!) I just saw you at the end of May and we had another one of our great spiritual discussions. Now you're living with Jesus. I wish I could be at your wake, but I will be out of town next week. I will remember Kathy and your family in prayer. I truly look forward to seeing you again and continuing where we left off. Your chaplain and brother in Christ, BobD

I have wonderful memories of my cousin, Bob, taking me and his youngest brother 'Butch' to boy scout events and the entire family being so very proud of boxer in the family. I share the loss and my heart goes out to all of the Wood Family and others who have been touched just by knowing Bob. With Love to All.

Dear Wood family, We are so sorry for your loss. We had the great pleasure of meeting this humble man when we discussed his boxing career at the Easton Historical Society. Please accept our deepest sympathy. With prayers, Frank and Anne-Marie Meninno

I will remember Bob as a loving husband, a Proud US Marine and a decorated amateur boxer. Bob was a kind and generous man that never uttered a bad word about anything to me. He enjoyed nothing more than sharing his stories from is boxing career. He was a pleasure to work with. Bob will be missed.

I remember Bob. We attended Brockton Vocational together taking Machine Shop. We boxing trained at the Brockton Y. We sparred together. He was Heavy Weight, I was Middleweight. I watched him win the Regional Golden Gloves. Always respected Bob. Missed him over the the years. We boxed together and he never took advantage of me. Really sorry I missed his services. Rest in peace Bob
