Mary Morningstar was the light at the end of my very dark tunnel. She always taught me to have a plan and live life to the fullest. She was and always will be a very positive and colorful influence in my life. I am very sad regarding your sudden departure. I know I have a very special angel on my side.I will always remember you and celebrate all of the things that you taught me. I am a survivor and it came with your love and constant due diligence to make me the very person I am today. You will be missed like no other and I treasure the time we did have. Love, Kate Miller

To the family of Mary, Please accept this message of love and condolence from Ron and Moe. My Dad, James (Al) Dailey and Mary's mom were brother and sister. Mary A as we called her all our lives was my cousin. We are the same age, chose the same teaching career paths and had a lot in common. We are heartbroken by your recent loss and are experiencing difficulty getting our heads around the news. It is such a tragic loss of life at such a young age. Mary A touched so many lives through her work in the classroom and now in her retirement was touching lives of needy women. Her mantra in life of helping, assisting, caring and loving continued throughout her new career. She will never know the impact she made on so many lives. Please know she will be in our prayers and thoughts for many months to come. Unfortunately, Ron and I will not be able to attend her memorial due to a prior commitment - as we will be out-of-state. How upset I am of the timing, as she meant a lot to me and would have at all costs been in attendance if we could have. Eileen, may peace be with you, your son and husband in these difficult days to follow.

My condolences to Mary's loved ones; may you find solace in each other and the many memories you have. I only knew Mary for a short time but I felt connected to her from the moment I met her. She made an impact in my life and I will always remember her kindness, her smile and her comforting hugs. I know she loved butterflies as much as I do so I wrote a poem when I heard of her passing. I would like to share with you. May your Spirit soar Above the skies May you fly as free as the Butterflies May your memory live through all the lives you have guided...all the Love you shared so easily. May your beautiful soul rise..May you Fly.

What a gift Mary is to the world! What an example of loving kindness, generosity, authenticity and genuineness she provides for all of us. We want to leave one last Daily Dharma for her, and one that she taught all of us who are left behind: "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye. (Antoine de Saint-Exupery). We send our deepest condolences to her daughter, son-in-law, grandson, other family members and to her extended family whom she loved so deeply at First Parish UU Church in Canton. Brian and I share in your sadness and grief.

Mary Morningstar 1/10/48- 9/15/13 It has been 53 days without Mary, I miss her terribly. You all are all still in my thoughts and prayers as I am sure you still feel the loss of your mother, grandmother and mother in law. Mary, She was many things to many people in different ways. We had connections to each other in many ways....things we liked and have done and thoughts. I will never forget her, she was the the rose in the rain, the sun on my face, and the friendship in my heart. I would not be where I am today if it had not been for her kindness and friendship. She was such a kind woman and had a giving lovely soul. It was a privilege to have known Mary and I will miss her terribly. The last thing Mary said to me as she hugged me was " Kathy take care of you" I implore you all to take care of yourselves but to also reach out to others. Sometimes people just need a smile, a kind word or even a hug. It will make a difference to them. Spread kindness in Mary's memory and she will never be forgotten. Missing you everyday, Kathy LaMont
