Condolences on the death of Katrina. I am thankful that I was able to spend time with her on several occasions, including in connection with my speaking engagements and visit to Salem, Massachusetts, and most recently at PantheaCon in San Jose, California this past February. Katrina was bright, caring, and innovative. Like a shining comet, she brought a beautiful brillance and was gone too quickly. May we take comfort in knowing that she lives on in our cherished memories, in the lives she enriched, & in her creative works. Blessed Be.

Walt and SallyAnn, Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers and that you are not alone in your sorrow. I wanted to share the below poem with you. It was given to me when I lost a loved one and I found comfort in reading it. I hope you do to. We want to keep our loved ones with us forever, and it hurts so much when forever comes too soon. The loss is so great. Suddenly acceptance is required. No permission asked…. What if the spirit of your loved one has not left you, but has moved inside your heart to live, never to be forgotten? Once we love someone that person becomes a part of us and remains with us for as long as our memory of them lasts. Treasure your memories now. Try to focus on the time you did have. Let the blessings that you shared bathe you with love, encourage you with comfort and inspire you to go on. In the silence of your loneliness and as you struggle to adjust to this loss, please know that your being remembered often. Author: Donna Fargo

Sorry seems to little of a sentiment to give. even from the perspective of someone who only met her in passing and only knows her from her videos, it is obvious what a great loss this is. What little comfort or easy of pain this condolence can give I hope reaches all those who know and love her. I can only say, it is my loss i did not get to know her better. AfterFauve.

Words seem to be so inadequate at this time. Katrina was a brilliant, vibrant, caring young woman, and the world was a better place because of her presence. It was truly an honor to work with her and to call her my friend. My heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.

I am so sorry for your loss -for all of our loss. Katrina was a wonderful, talented young woman who's life touched many people. She was always happy to help others, whether a small child afraid of the dark or a co-worker in need. There seemed to be nothing she couldn't do -from running a store, building a set, making a feature-length film. She told the most wonderful stories -there was no situation she could not bring laughter to. She was a kind, loving, altogether exemplary human being. It is such a shock that she should be gone so soon. Please know that you and Katrina are and will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Katrina rented a room from me from Sept. to Oct. in 2010 while attending Salem State but in that very short time she made a huge impact on me and my family.Christmas that year she and Wesley came to visit bringing presents for everyone in the house. She had put so much thought in each one of them. I would run into Katrina all over Salem and she always gave me a big hug. I am so saddened over this news, Katrina was a wonderful person and I will miss her so much. With my deepest sympathy, Angela Merrett

WOW. This is a huge shock -- I just learned what happened! I only met Katrina 2-3 times, but she made a huge impression on me. The first time my girlfriend and I visited the World of Witches Museum, Katrina happily explained all her tattoos, reeled off a long list of books my girlfriend might like, gave an energetic museum tour in her bare feet, and encouraged us to friend the museum's statue on Facebook. (We did.) Several months later, we stopped in again -- and even though it was the height of tourist season by then, Katrina actually remembered us! I was very happily surprised -- I certainly had remembered her. She encouraged my girlfriend to attend an upcoming service. As always, she was engaging, outgoing, friendly, happy and confident. Recently we moved to Salem. I was considering stopping into the museum and letting her know that we had become locals. Sadly, I can't do that now. I know this is very belated, but I'm sending my most heartfelt condolences to her friends, family and loved ones. If I got such a strong impression from just meeting her a few times, I can only imagine what an impact she must have made on the lives of those closer to her. She was very special.
