MSG Steven John Hegley, beloved husband of Doris Hegley, entered into rest on Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.
Services will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date.
MSG Hegley was a native of Butler, Pennsylvania and had retired from the US Army.
In addition to his wife, Doris, he is survived by his two sons; Alex and Thom, two brothers; Lee Hegley (Sharon) and Chris Hegley, two sisters in law; Maura Hegley and Dawn Hegley, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Chalys Hegley and two brothers; Bob and Mike.
A committal service will take place at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2020 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia. Full military honors will be rendered.
