Ann, my dear, you have returned to your beloved husband, Jack. The two of you are smiling together looking down on your precious family. I will never forget that WDC trip where we bonded instantly. Please give Jack a hug for me. Your family has lost their parents in such a short time. I send my sincerest condolences to The O’Donnell Family. Know that your mum will always be with you.

we are so sorry for your loss. We only knew them for a short time and always enjoyed sitting with them at Gunrock Beach, gatherings at the Cashman’s or meeting at church. They were a great couple and leave a wonderful legacy to you all. God bless you all. You have your own cheering squad in Heaven. Peace and Blessings, Joyce and Jerry

Ann embraced each day with gusto and enthusiasm. Even near the end of her life, she appreciated the little things. She loved to travel and the suitcase was already packed two weeks prior to departure. We were fortunate to travel with Ann and John and remember the great times we experienced: the trip to Texas and the futile search for the bats, the haunted house on Martha's Vineyard, the adventures in Charleston and Savannah, the summer weekend at the Baseball Hall of Fame, the last ride on the "rattler", the old Orange Line and many more. Ann, however, was the happiest in the company of husband John, her children and grandchildren. She relished her times with them at home in JP, cruising on an ocean liner or on the beaches of St. Martin or Hull. She also suffered through the losses of the Red Sox and celebrated their wins. She cherished her colleagues at the Faulkner and always spoke of them with fondness and the joy of working with them. A seasonal event that she truly enjoyed was Christmas shopping with John. He was there for both company and, as she stated, "to carry the bundles". This was followed by the wrapping of the gifts in company with her daughters. All of her female friends will miss the Thursday lunches, followed by spirited Mexican train games. The future gatherings for these activities will never be the same. Ann,your absence will be deeply felt. Ann, you were a wonderful friend and an incredible person. You are missed. Maria and John McLaughlin

Sending condolences to the entire O'Donnell family. While it has been a long time since our families lived physically close together, our lives have all been shaped in many ways by the relationships of our time together in Boston. My mom and dad often share stories of Mrs & Mr O'Donnell, their friendship and support they gave as a young family and those connections have always been so special to our family. While it is never easy to say goodbye, especially during this pandemic, they have left a great legacy in their children and grand children. With love and prayers, The O'Malley Dillon Family
