May Ulana's intellect, compassion and faith be a beacon to her entire family. What a blessing to have such an incredible woman in your lives; may she live in your hearts and inspire you forever. Much love, Gayle Whittemore and Alex Glickman

Dearest Sos family, I am so sad to hear of your loss. What I remember about Pani Ulana is the timbre of her voice. I always heard the sweetness in it. (Maybe the kids don't think so.) Also, she had a nice chuckle when she giggled. I remember how coiffed and poised she was. ALWAYS. I am blessed to have had her imprint my young being back in College Park, MD in the 60's and 70's. Vitchnaya Pamiat. With love, Tania Yarymovych Thompson

It is so hard to imagine that someone whom we knew for so long is no longer out there "somewhere" on this planet. Ihor and I enjoyed living next to Ulana and the Sos family in Silver Spring, Maryland, all those years, watching our children grow, play together and grow up taking part in all the usual Ukrainian diaspora activities--Saturday school, scouts, summer camps, church, dances, and family outings. Ulana was always someone who was actively, brightly engaged in life and left a lovely legacy for all who knew her.
