CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

Lisa, I love you. You were like a sister to me and my siblings. We grew up next door to each other, then later spend time together when we were adults. I was blessed to have known you and to have spent so much one-on-one time with you while advocating for you during your eye illness. You had many gifts, Lisa. You were always a diehard friend to me and everyone you knew; once a friend forever a friend with you, making every moment of your life into an unforgettable memory that you later shared with family and friends. You had a perfect memory of your childhood so there was much time spent laughing and reminiscing about our perfect lives on Maryland Drive with the Webbs, the Shoemakers and Dohertys to name a few. Not once did I hear you speak ill of anyone. You were so positive and a lover of people. You, too, had the biggest heart loving and having compassion for all no matter who they were, and did it all without judgment. You were unique and honestly different (odd at times, ha-- you made up your own words on occasion, but I loved it and still use those made-up words) I've never known anyone with such a big heart. You were kind- hearted and smart like your parents. You had the best sense of humor and never gave up an opportunity to laugh at yourself. You never put walls up during the harder times, you were always giving and wanting to share good times with others. Though life threw you many difficult challenges in the past 18 years, you rarely complained but instead looked for solutions. I've told people how resourceful you were as you went through it all!! You didn't throw in the towel but was able to somehow maintain that joie de vivre even when I couldn't see it for you! Lisa, you also had an unsatiable love for animals and children. They gave you such joy throughout your lifetime. You blessed so many even when you didn't know it. Rest in peace in heaven, Lisa, as you now see Jesus and all of heaven's spectacular colors and run fearlessly not blindly ahead to hug your Dad, your brother, and the many others you've loved. You are now free from all restraints. Thank you God for giving us Lisa who uniquely possessed such a sweet, kind, giving, and childlike spirit. She will never be forgotten. I look forward to seeing your big bright brown eyes, your goofy smile and hearing your silly deep laugh. Till we meet again, your dear friend and sister, Ann
