CONDOLENCES (GuestBook)

So very sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and so glad we got the chance to know her while at Garrett United Methodist Church. May you be comforted in knowing she is in God’s arms, always watching over you and nor with Chris. Our prayers are with you

Pastor Larry, et.al. My heart goes out to you. I oftentimes look at the pics that Daddy and I took at Anderson when last we were.there. It doesn’t seem possible that she’s gone. My daddy (Pastor Joe Reece) died last July. He’d gotten really unsteady on his feet and fell down once too often. He was 95 and had spent the better part of 63 years in full-time ministry. I. always appreciated the love the two of you and Lowell and I always shared. Then that love was extended to Clayton after we were married. All of you remain in my hearts and prayers. As pastors and as those in ministry I find it interesting that the.things we have said to others over the years, do seem to hold true for us as well These next few days will be a whirl wind and then will come the terrible task of living and making a new adjustment. I wish I were able to come and be with you. Be good to yourself. Wecc c send our love. Rebecca, Clayton, and of course, Sammy Joe Gregson. (Sammy is our ShihTzu who will turn 14 in September. Good night, dear one ! Rebecca

Laura Mae was a special member of my class growing up in Bourbon; I moved to Tyner the summer after my freshman year so missed graduating with her. She was bright, intelligent and caring always! The last time I saw her was last year at out 60th class celebration. I am still allowed to participate as a member of the Bourbon graduating class since I spent most of my growing up years in Bourbon with the class. I am honored to still be included. Laura Mae will be missed! She left her mark on this earth in a multitude of ways! God rest her soul!
