Aloha to the Ulwick & Meals family & sorry for our terrible loss. Signe was my aunt & my mother Lisa Ulwick’s best friend. Thinking back to when I was young in the 90s, I could always picture Signe at my parents house watching football every weekend. When summer came around Signe and Lisa would plan vacations to get away from Mass & head north to hang at a nice lake in New Hampshire, Maine or Vermont. Signe was an open book. Fire a question she would give you an honest answer from her heart right back. When I think of Signe having a good time, I close my eyes and picture her floating on a tube with sunglasses, a cold beer and a book. Signe enjoyed floating and reading, she was the definition of the phrase “good times.” Signe Marie Ulwick Meals will forever be in my heart, because of all the joy she brought to my life, their are so many memories it would take years to share them all, but none will be forgotten. Simply cherish the friends and family we still have on this Little rock we call earth. Signe, you were my friend & I loved you. Thanks for being a great aunt & role model. You will be cherished and missed daily. May your soul rest easy & reunite with the other members of our family in the next life. Mahalos

Signe my dear friend, you were one of the first people I met when I moved to Winchester. You were kind, caring, and would give the shirt off your back to anyone. You made everyone feel like your best friend. You embraced life - always ready for an adventure! I have so many memories that I will cherish forever! I was so blessed to have you in my life and know you will be watching over all of us now. Rest easy- you will forever be in my heart!

My deepest and sincere sympathies to the entire Meals clan and extended family and many friends as described in this obit. I and all the nurses, the support staff and providers have worked for many years with Chris at South Shore Hospitals Emergency Department and greatly appreciate his passion and acumen in caring for so many patients, both before and during this Covid pandemic. It is heartbreaking to lose anyone and especially one so young as his wife and the mom of their daughter and one who is so obviously vital and much loved. We will be there for Chris as he has been there for so many others.
